NY Jets’ rising star signs Results for branding and image campaign

He has impressed the right people on the field. He’s had an impact on countless people through his charitable works. To become a household word with everyone else, James Ihedigbo has put Results Advertising on his team.

The agency’s Sports and Entertainment Marketing division is handling the task, which involves developing a complete identity system for the promising young defensive back, along with a comprehensive website www.jamesihedigbo.com. The goal is to continue building Ihedigbo’s image and increase awareness in his many charitable endeavors.

In addition to extensive research and conversations with Ihedigbo, Results organized a photo shoot at the studio of professional photographer Jim Esposito. The website will be updated to include news and information about James’ career and his charitable efforts. The Results team is also developing easy-to-use forums to allow fans and colleagues to correspond with James. The hope is that the news will quickly spread about this man who truly understands the meaning of “giving back.”

A walk-on player at UMass, James played his way to a full scholarship…and the role of team captain. Again as a walk-on, he was signed by the NY Jets and has been attracting attention ever since.

Beyond Ihedigbo’s physical prowess (he maintains an intense year-round workout regimen), the materials created by Results call attention the softer side of this intimidating 6’ 1”, 202-lb. athlete. After earning PhD’s, his parents founded a school in their native Nigeria. After his father’s unfortunate passing, James made a commitment to keeping his parents’ dream alive by continuing to support the school. In addition, he began his own foundation, Hope Africa, which offers scholarships to bring African students to America.

James is also active in numerous local and national charities. Recently, he joined with other athletes and entertainers for an event sponsored by The Valerie Fund. The group spent the day with children suffering from cancer and blood disorders.
