PHP Web Developer

Responsibilities include the development of websites from concept to completion, including front-end and back-end development. Additional projects may include the modification of already existing websites with multiple functionality that may include Javascripting, jQuery, API interaction, third-party plug-in customizations, database transfers and integration of emerging technologies.

Ideal candidates will possess all of the following:

• Significant experience developing in PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML 5, Javascript, XML

• Strong knowledge of MySQL

• Strong knowledge and experience of Wordpress development and other CMS frameworks

• Strong JavaScript / AJAX / jQuery coding skills and respective frameworks.

• Web service/API integration/Dev environment building experience

• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills (written and verbal), and the ability to handle multiple projects.

• Ability to complete work on or ahead of schedules

• Self-driven to keep ahead of emerging online technologies

• Ability to provide clear direction and feedback throughout all stages of the development process.

• Bachelor's degree in web design & development or related field

•  A portfolio of developed projects with detailed project summaries
